The Scag Turf Tiger can cover major ground with its productive 12 mph ground speed (29hp and larger models) and large 10 gallon fuel tank. The Turf Tiger's wide track stance, low center-of-gravity, wide caster tires and 24" drive tires mean sure-footed stability in a variety of cutting conditions. The simple, trouble-free shaft drive cutter deck with 90 degree gear box means minimum maintenance requirements and the widest range of cutting heights on the market. The double tube steel main frame gives the mower incredible strength and durability. This frame design alone places the Turf Tiger in a class by itself. Self-adjusting belt systems constantly adjust the belt tension for maximum belt life with little to no maintenance.

Walk-Behind Mowers

They feature dual hydro control levers for on-the-go tracking adjustments, so you can maintain straight-line tracking even on slopes. The overall design features a wide rear stance to offer greater stability on hills. The hydrostatic drive provides positive reverse and reduced slippage in wet conditions. Larger fuel tanks give you longer running times. And on the HFF model, the pivoting front axle provides improved ground-following performance on uneven terrain. The HFF model also has standard electric start and electric PTO, plus quick, no-tools deck adjustment.
